The Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth (FBP), Diversity Council started in 2017 to connect a diverse workforce to the business practices and the management at the Portsmouth Gaseous Division Plant and to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on the site and in the community. In an effort to promote a more diverse workforce, the FBP Diversity Council has created a scholarship for local graduating seniors who will be attending a trade school, technical college, community college, or university. Two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded this year. Students must be a graduating senior from Pike, Scioto, Ross, or Jackson counties.
