Fluor-B&W Portsmouth Scholarship Applications Available

PIKETON, Ohio – February 26, 2013 – Fluor-B&W Portsmouth is committed to being an active corporate leader to the communities that have supported nuclear and environmental remediation missions at the Department of Energy Portsmouth site for more than 50 years.

Fluor-B&W works to create opportunities for area students to excel in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.). The Fluor-B&W S.T.E.M. Scholarship is open to all 2013 graduating seniors attending a high school or residing within the counties of Jackson, Pike, Ross and Scioto.

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and have been accepted to attend an accredited college or university with a major in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Fluor-B&W Portsmouth will award 12 one-time scholarships with a value of $2,000 each.
